Modern Day Anne of Green Gables

Just wanted to post this pic from Vogue's January 2010 issue. I absolutely love love the dress!! The blue tulle over the polka dots is really beautiful. The look reminds me of a modern day Anne of Green Gables. Beautiful! I might just have to use this as inspiration for a collection.

New Artwork: "Listening"

Here's a piece recently finished. It's entitled "Listening"

This is a painting of the moment where you are entirely engulfed in the music. Not even the rain can distract you. "Listening" was inspired by the feeling of being complete within yourself, while you listen to your favorite music. It was also sort of born from another of my works entitled "Watching," which portrays a person's love for someONE, while this piece, on the other hand, shows a person's love for someTHING.

It is acrylic paint on stretch canvas measuring 30.00 x 24.00 x 0.75(inches high by wide by deep).
